tmbt: blue view peaks
I can see a little strip of blue out there from the window. Behind it, miles of white wash. Before it, a hovering island of puffy grey cement. Between the cement and the blue, before the eye drifts to the white, are the ever-present Boulder Flatirons, foothills of the Rockies. As easy as it would be to spin and trot out some grand metaphor for the blue exposed between cloud banks, that’s not in the cards today. The most beautiful thing is not hope in the midst of despair. It is simply a sweet streaking patch of blue out there seen from my window – today’s most beautiful thing.
