tmbt shared: leaf art
I had lunch with a dear guy friend today who is the epitome of big heart and smile. We were swapping stories about our latest forays into the ever-present and evolving world of relationships when he recounted his morning out on the trails. He had set an intention for the day to experience an expansion of heart and there on the trail, he recieved it. Someone had left a simply, yet artfully crafted eco-art installation of leaves around a large rock, nothing too austentacious, just an offering of beauty. In response, my friend went about creating a similarly-inspired art piece of his own – shaping a big heart atop a boulder with the quickly changed yellow leaves of a small tree. He told me that the experience of creating and viewing this piece, a call and response to his intention, was the most beautiful experience of his day.
