the most beautiful thing: clown mom
Today, I saw the show “olive” as part of the Boulder International Fringe Festival. Olive is a sweet and cranky little character of a clown who takes us on a journey through the “how it works” of conception through birth as only a trained clown/actor/mother can. Created and played by Kjersti Ingela Webb, this show shines with sweet humour, dedicated physicality, and precious insight into the love between a mother and her parasite… er, baby. It was very touching and funny… beautiful, in fact.
